Chapter 1898

Jasmine was momentarily stunned before saying, “Let me tell you, this is Kayson, the heir of the

Zagorski family. The whole of Norham belongs to his family.”

“I don’t care who he is. If you kill him, his father wille after you for revenge. l have nothing to do

with it. My target today is you,” Boneng replied.

With that, Boneng’s palm emitted a faint light as he unleashed an attack without concern for Kayson’s

    safety.

Given his unsessful threat, Jasmine brushed away thoughts of harming Kayson. He was aware that

if he killed Kayson, the Zagorski family would never let him off the hook.

Frustrated, Jasmine pushed Kayson aside and then tried fending off Boneng’s attack with his palm.

    Boom!

Following a loud noise, terrifying martial energy spread out in all directions.

Boneng staggered backward, and his right hand began to feel numb. As it turned out, there was still a

huge difference between his strength and Jasmine‘s.

Jasmine snorted derisively, a cold smirk ying on his lips. “Boneng, you were no match for me in the

past, and you never will be. You will always be living in my shadow.”

“Jasmine, you‘d better keep your arrogance in check. I’ll teach you a lesson.” Boneng’s eyes narrowed

    slightly.

Although he was not strong, he was unrivaled in terms of casting charm spells.

As he activated hand seals, yellow charms appeared around him on which blood-red runes emerged.

The charms then instantly morphed into ferocious beasts that rushed toward Jasmine while roaring.

Jasmine merely sneered. “Jasmine, I’m not afraid of you and your charm spells.”

As he spoke, he turned and nced somewhere else before tearing a piece of yellow fabric from one

ofthe doors. Then, he bit his finger and drew something on the yellow fabric with his blood.

Soon, the yellow fabric caught fire, and arge bird flew out of the mes. The bird was engulfed by

    raging mes.

“The me Phoenix…” Boneng wrinkled his brow. “Jasmine, how did you summon the me

    Phoenix? That’s Cathy’s…”

Boneng’s ex-girlfriend had a unique physique that allowed her to summon the me Phoenix.

However, that skill was not a technique that could be imparted to someone. Hence, no one could

    master it.

Nheless, Jasmine had summoned the me Phoenix right before Boneng’s eyes. That left Boneng

    overwhelmed with shock.

“Everything that she possesses belongs to me. Since she has chosen to be with me, she must dedicate

everything to me,” Jasmine said with a sneer.

Dread inundated Boneng while he nced at Jasmine.

“What did you do to Cathy?” Boneng asked as a sense of foreboding swirled within his guts.

“I didn’t do anything to her. We merely merged. The Golden Core in her body is now inside me.

Otherwise, how could I have summoned the me Phoenix?” Jasmine replied coldly.

“You killed her?” Boneng‘s body trembled as mes of fury rose within him.

Apparently, Cathy still held a ce in Boneng’s heart. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been decadent for

so many years and resorted to bing a womanizer in a futile effort to numb himself.

The deep-seated love that Boneng had for Cathy raged within his heart when he learned that Jasmine

    had killed her.

“Hey, you’re exaggerating. I didn’t kill her; I merely let her live on in my heart in a different way,”

    Jasmine said shamelessly.

“Go to hell!” Boneng‘s wrath boiled over as he roared and unleashed the ferocious beasts that growled,

    too.
