Chapter 2673 Activated
This was the day the medicinal pool would be activated, so every disciple of Emerald Cauldron Sect
was present and dressed in their finest attire.
In the mountains southwest of the Emerald Cauldron Sect, waves of vibrant spiritual energy surged
toward the sky, creating a captivating spectacle. The air surrounding the sect became saturated with
concentrated spiritual energy, permeating the atmosphere with a sense of profound vitality.
Hosen was dressed in a full set of formal attire as he stood atop a high tower with two elders next to
him.
With eager eyes, the disciples of the Emerald Cauldron Sect gazed upon the activated medicinal pool,
for it was an exceedingly rare and coveted opportunity for them to step foot into it.
Ebenez''s gaze swept across the crowd, and as he spotted Jared among the disciples, a slight furrow
appeared on his brow, but he was quick to ease up on his frown.
When his gaze fell upon Vi, however, Ebenez couldn''t help but stare intensely at her.
Although Vi had concealed her identity with a disguise that changed her appearancepletely, it
was still difficult to conceal her aura and some of her unique physical characteristics.
Having noticed someone staring at her, Vi moved her body slightly and hid herself behind Jared.
“You''ve been quite busy with recruiting disciplestely, Ghaylen! One of them seems strangely familiar
to me,” Ebenez addressed Ghaylen.
Ghaylen knew who he was referring to, but he chose to ignore Ebenez and remained silent.
Seeing as the man refused to answer his question, Ebenez had no choice but to drop the topic.
“Have you both selected your candidates? We need a total of thirteen individuals to enter the medicinal
pool. With Bilius'' demise, Ebenez is entitled to choose four candidates, and Ghaylen is allowed three
candidates. Are both of you in agreement with this arrangement?” Hosen asked.
“I''m fine with it!” Ebenez replied with a nod.
Ghaylen nodded as well. “Same here.”
I wouldn''t be able to change anything even if I wasn''t fine with it, so it makes no difference anyway!
“In that case, please have your candidates step forward. They will be allowed into the medicinal pool
once they pass the test,” Hosen continued.
The chosen disciples then stepped forward. Ghaylen had elected Jared, Vi, and Zebediah.
Most of the people there were confused when they saw Ghaylen grant two of the three opportunities to
his new disciples.
As Hosen''s gaze scanned Jared and the other two disciples, it instinctively lingered on Vi.
Ghaylen''s heart tightened with anxiety as he noticed Hosen''s gaze briefly resting upon Vi. Things
are going to get really problematic if Vi''s identity gets exposed!
Thankfully, Hosen''s attention shifted away from Vi, and he turned to Ghaylen with a questioning
expression. “Ghaylen, why did you bestow such a significant opportunity upon two new disciples?
Won''t this decision upset the senior disciples?”
“I appreciate your concern, Hosen, but my other disciples are not upset at all,” Ghaylen replied calmly.
Hosen simply shot Ghaylen a nce without saying anything further. He then waved his hand and told
the disciples, “You are now allowed to enter the medicinal pool, but if you feel unwell or believe you
can''t handle the test, consider forfeiting immediately. Once you step into the pool, there''s no turning
back. You''ll be held ountable for any injuries or casualties resulting from your entry without meeting
the requirements.”

Of course, no disciple would willingly withdraw from such a rare opportunity. To enter the medicinal pool
was something every disciple of Emerald Cauldron Sect dreamed of doing, so they would rather die in
there than back away.
While scanning Hosen''s disciples, who were standing before him, Jared was shocked to realize that
Sigurd was not among them.
Huh... Maybe Hosen got mad at Sigurd for bringing me into Emerald Cauldron Sect and disqualified
him...
