Chapter 2438: I''ve Come to Die

"Divine wonders are only formations at the end of the day, and the one controlling this one is showing signs of instability. All we have to do is to breach the Fishguts and she might just copse on her own."
"That''s right! The girl isn''t as terrifying as she seems!"
"How envy-inducing for someone to have a special wife like that. Wouldn''t it be perfect if we could control her? Even if we can''t, we should just destroy her so nobody else can have her."
Lin Yun and Lin Ziqing''s nonstop assault intensified as their green and purple swords shot out ability after ability to break through the divine wonders. Divine wonders were much better for crowd control, and usually suffered against powerful duelists like those of the Lin n. The two focused their attacks on a single point, applying huge pressure on a small area. Lin Ziqing covered Lin Yun, paving a way for him to enter by vaporizing hundreds of thousands of green whales. "Go!"
Lin Yun charged through the path like a dragon emerging from a cave and struck at the Fishguts, whose formation shed and revealed a slight opening the size of a sh. While the strike hadn''t been able to pierce the hull, it did send the ship crashing into the formation of the council hall. Tianming and everyone else inside rolled and tumbled around inside; Moran and her sisters were almost flung apart as well. Fortunately, they held their hands tight and huddled together, closing their eyes with focus and determination. Though many of them were bleeding, they grit their teeth and held on to each other. Even so, the shock still destabilized the divine wonders somewhat, causing them to slightly distort. They could well start imploding from the unstable flow of energy.
"Big Brother!" Feiling yelled to get him to stay alert.
"I know." Tianming nodded, having made a decision.
"Don''t go out! We can hold on!" Moran said as her sisters helped her out. She waspletely bloody, but she still had Ji Ji keep raising the output of nova source. She didn''t want Tianming to risk anything.
].
"That''s right, don''t go...."
"There are many of us... sacrificing a few is fine."
"For you, it''s worth it."
Though the sisters couldn''t speak nor emote nearly as well, their gazes conveyed plenty of emotion. They really were thinking of sacrificing themselves to protect Tianming.
"What’re you saying? I won''t let even a single one of you perish and leave me behind," Tianming said, sternly looking at them. "Don''t worry—I definitely can''t die! Just focus on protecting yourselves, Ling''er, and Xiaoxiao. Leave the rest to me." Tianming knew that he would be able to draw away at least one of the two outside if he left the ship. He trusted that the other three would be able to deal with the one that stayed, not to mention Lin Xiong and the rest coulde to help once they dealt with their own foes. If they did nothing and let Lin Yun and Lin Ziqing continue their assault on the divine wonders, there really would be no hope left. Tianming had to make a choice, so he chose to leave! With the Fishguts having been sent to the edge of the formation, this was his chance.
"Ying Huo and the rest, stay here!" Tianming got all of them to stay, other than Yin Chen. He would be taking an unprecedented risk and couldn''t tell how things would develop.
His lifebound beasts dutifully heeded his orders and protected the girls.
Without another word, he charged outside while Lin Yun and Lin Ziqing turned their attention back to the Fishguts. Around a hundred thousand Yin Chens turned into crabs that swarmed out all over the ce.
"That''s Lin Feng!" Lin Ziqing cried when she spotted him.
Lin Yun was thrilled that his ns had worked out. "I''ll leave those girls to you!" He wanted to at least force Tianming to leave the council hall''s formation.
"Go!" Lin Ziqing didn''t bother to argue. She herself was quite interested in Moran''s divine wonders. If she could deal with her, it would render just as much merit as capturing Tianming would. Once they split up, the two divine wonders wildly attacked Lin Yun to slow him down.
"Keep hitting them!" Lin Yun cried, annoyed and angered by the bombardment.
"Got it." Lin Ziqing''s fine purple sword turned into a light beam that pierced toward the Fishguts, diverting the defenses around it away from Lin Yun. Though, right after he recovered somewhat, arge number of Yin Chens appeared before him, blocking his view.
"How naive.... Do you think you can actually escape me? I haven''t been cultivating for the past few millennia for nothing!" His entire person turned into a sharp green sword that pierced through the army of Yin Chens. "From the moment you left your ship, you were dead, whether you stay in the formation or not! I''ll be here tending to you when you''re inside, but outside are two bloody mouths waiting for you to jump into... hahaha.... Little, insignificant Lin Feng... How dare you act so arrogantly? Howughable. Oh well, you''re just a brat. The troubles you managed to cause us and the ebons are enough to ensure you''ll be written into the history books."
Lin Yun felt utter tion as he gloated with victory in sight.
......
Tianming burst out of the council hall''s formation. The bright light outside was a little too blinding. Curses rang all through the area, blending in with tragic cries. The Swordgod Lin n was experiencing tens of thousands of generations of suffering and hepletely empathized with the n.
"I’m Lin Feng! Everyone, halt! I''vee to die!" he cried with all the might he could muster, shaking the skies above. s, nobody in the chaos could hear his voice. However, he felt like a most dangerous being had locked their eyes on him. The figure that closed in from behind was Lin Yun, while two others approached from ahead.
......
The repeated bombardment from thirteen divine astralships at Mount Taia mmed into Dongshen Zhuojun''s defensive formation like heavenly pirs. Every single time, itpletely rocked the mountains, destroying more and more of thendscape. There were many cracks all over the ce, and countless copsed and burning buildings lit up that corner of Ebonia''s sky. The Dongshen n faced the risk of eradication with every blow as the ones fueling the formation stubbornly hung on, struggling in a sea of pain.
