?Chapter 1116:
Andrew paused before continuing, the words easier to say now that he had started. “My feelings for her haven’t changed. In fact, as we spend more time together, I find myself loving her even more. But when we share meals, go jogging, or rx together… it all just feels different.”
His tone grew heavier, and he turned to Mchi. “Do you know why?”
Mchi took a moment to reflect and understood the situation soon. It was simple: Andrew hadn’t adjusted to the fact that the passion had faded.
Mchi was surprised. He hadn’t expected Andrew, so caught up in love, to go through such a phase with Madisyn.
Their passionate romance hadsted for years, and Mchi had always thought a lull like this would nevere for Andrew.
Andrew nced at Mchi, and Mchi quickly responded, “Mr. Klein, do you know what stages couples typically go through in a rtionship?”
“What stages?” Andrew asked, genuinely unsure.
Mchi cleared his throat and exined. “Generally, couples go through a getting-to-know-each-other phase, followed by a flirtation stage, then the passionate period once theymit, and finally, a lull. I won’t delve into the earlier stages you and Miss Johns have gone through, but based on what you’ve described, it seems you two have reached the lull.”
Mchi noticed that Andrew, normally so confident, now looked thoughtful. He quickly added, “Don’t underestimate this lull. No matter how amazing the earlier stages were, once you enter this lull, there are two possible oues: either the rtionship stays in that phase, or it ends.”
Andrew frowned, clearly troubled. “Is there no third option?” Neither of those options appealed to him.
Mchi said with a knowing smile, “Of course, there is. You can always reignite the passionate phase, but that’s a bit more challenging.”
Andrew fixed his gaze on Mchi, silently contemting the advice.
“Mchi,” Andrew said, “I’ll double your sry this month. Just exin it carefully.”
Double sry?! Mchi’s face lit up with the promise of a bonus, transforming him into an instant love guru.
“The reason rtionships often hit a lull,” Mchi continued, “is that couples grow so familiar with each other that the initial excitement fades. Comfort sets in, and soon enough, ws begin to surface.
To rekindle that spark, both you and Miss Johns need to make a conscious effort—being understanding, supportive, and continually finding new ways to get along. Even when you know someone as well as you know Miss Johns, every day is still a new day. How you live it can still hold unknowns and fresh experiences.
The key to finding that passion again lies in these two things. But since every couple is unique, this is something only you can figure out together.”
Andrew nodded, his mind whirring with the information. “You can leave now.”
Mchi could tell from Andrew’s thoughtful expression that his words had struck a chord. What he had shared came from real-life rtionship advice his friends had given. Given Andrew’s higher intellect, Mchi was confident he would seed.
As Mchi exited, he couldn’t help but hope that Andrew and Madisyn would rekindle their spark soon.
