Ironhulk looked at his subordinate. "Go and drag Sasha Quinton to the dog farm. Since this Felix Zeller is so powerful, I''d like to see whether he can save her twice."


    Two hourster, sometime past 1:00 am, Felix appeared at Kane''s house.


    "I''m so sorry to disturb you at this hour, Mr. Zeller. I should''ve been the one to go to you," Kane said, looking distressed. Felix himself had mentioned that Kane could contact him anytime if he had news on the herbs.


    So, he''d called Felix upon returning from his trip to another city. He''d suggested heading over to Felix''s vi, but thetter had said he woulde over instead.


    Felix said, "It''s not too convenient to meet at my ce for the time being."


    How could they discuss anything if he couldn''t even turn the lights on at his vi? He didn''t want to have anything to do with Xena before Curtis woke up. Sasha was already enough trouble for him. "Did you really get the things?" Kane nodded and had someone bring them two bunches of herbs. "You can check them, Mr. Zeller. The healers I asked verified that these are genuine."


    Felix checked the herbs and smiled. "And genuine they are. Good job!"


    After adding these two to the count, he had already collected four herbs and was getting closer to his goal.


    "It''s my honor to have been of help, Mr. Zeller." Kane was delighted. Felix was the Dragon Lord; "not bad" was considered high praise. It was enough to leave him excited for the rest of the night.


    "No. I''ve always been one to reward those who deserve it." With that said, Felix pped a hand on Kane''s chest.


    Thetter didn''t know how to react at first. Then, he shut his eyes, seemingly focusing on something. After about a minute, he opened his eyes again, which glinted. He fell to his knees before Felix. "Thank you, my lord!" Kane''s practice had been stunted for several years without any breakthroughs, yet Felix had helped him ascend to the next stage just by pping him on the chest. It was a reward that no amount of money could buy. "You may rise. Continue searching for the rest of the herbs. If you do well, I''ll reward


    you ordingly. It''s only right," Felix said.


    Kane couldn''t help thinking how perfect Felix was. The traitors in Dragon Alliance would get what wasing to them!


    Felix was about to get up and head home when his phone rang. It was a video call from Sasha. He wanted to hang up when he checked the time and realized it was unusual for her to call at that hour. So, he answered. "Felix, save me! Help!"


    In the video, Sasha had been bound to a chair, her eyes red from crying. The scary thing was that there were four savage pit bulls surrounding her and barking at her like mad. Even a man would be terrified by this, let alone Sasha. Just then, a man''s huge face blocked the camera. "Come to Hairot Dog Farm in the eastern suburbs, brat. If you don''t get here before sunrise, we''ll have fun with this chick before feeding her to the dogs."


    The call ended there, leaving Felix with an ugly look on his face. Who was so determined to get him that they would even drag Sasha into the fray?


    "Hairot Dog Farm belongs to Ironhulk, Mr. Zeller," Kane said.


    Felix slowly stood up at that. He didn''t care who Ironhulk was. Instead, he said, Listen to mymand, Kane Guerra, deputy chief of Dragon Alliance''s Oasis Clinic."


    Kane felt his heart race with adrenaline. He got on one knee and cried, "Kane Guerra, at your service!"


    Since his parents'' deaths, Felix had hated it whenever his enemies tried to drag his friends and family into the fray. Ironhulk had no idea he was courting death. "Raze Hairot Dog Farm to the ground. Leave no one alive!"
