James wasn''t someone who stood out. In school, he kept a low profile. It was unexpected for him to be wealthy. As expected, no one could predict one''s fate.


    Since they used to be ssmates, the pretense of a ss reunion was the most appropriate setting. If Jack had invited James alone, there would have been a high probability that he would have been rejected as they weren''t close friends in school. There would be nothing he could do about it.


    As time passed, their high school ssmates entered one by one. Of course, all they engaged in was small talk. The people who had sessful lives would take the initiative to speak up and ask about other people''s work as well as questions about status and wealth Atst, James arrived. He came together with a ssmate, Harvey Johnson, who was known as Gray. His hair color was gray, which was why he acquired such a nickname. When Felix saw Harvey pulling the chair for James, he guessed that Harvey was like a minion to him. "Felix, what''s your current job?"


    Once everyone had arrived, Jack gave an opening speech. Afterward, the conversation flowed, with everyoneughing and talking, gradually drawing out each other''s thoughts.


    "I''m unemployed right now."


    Because of that answer, many people scorned Felix. Perhaps they didn''t say anything because they needed to respect Jack. All of a sudden, Harvey chuckled.


    "Have you not found a job yet? We''re all ssmates. We should help each other! James''pany has recently opened a factory. The factory stillcks a head of security. I think you''re suitable for the job. Don''t you think so, James?"


    At those words, the other people found Harvey''s words strange, not just Felix. All of them used to be ssmates. If they had to rmend a job, they would rmend a normal job. A security guard? It was a humiliating rmendation.


    "That''s right. I''m short of a head of security. Felix, are you interested in this job? I can just tell them to hire you." Although James was smiling, everyone could tell that he was acting arrogant.


    "There''s no need for that. I''m contented with what I have now," answered Felix with a smile after nudging Jack, who wanted to speak up. Of course, he couldn''t embarrass his friend.


    Harvey shook his head and said, "What a pity. Finding a job these days is so difficult. Among the people who want to be the head of security for James'' factory, there''s one from a prestigious university.


    "Felix, you shouldn''t miss this chance. James is willing to give you the chance because we used to be ssmates."


    Seeing that Harvey was still going on about it, Felix frowned. Jack couldn''t hold back any longer and raised his ss.


    "Let''s stop talking about this. Come on. Let''s cheer again."


    However, James had no intention of raising his ss. Instead, he looked at Felix and said, " Felix, I sincerely want to help you. How about this? Since we used to be ssmates, I can increase your sry as the head of security to 5000 dors. You should be happy with that, right?" Upon hearing that, Jack was enraged. "James, what do you mean by that? You can''t insult him in such a manner. Drop it now."


    No one expected the reunion to be so intense when it had just begun. Most importantly, they knew that James was a big shot now. Besides, Felix was unemployed. No one would be willing to meddle in this matter.


    "Jack, how could you be so impolite to James?"


    Harvey got up and pointed at Jack with a vicious gaze. With a smile, James hinted at Harvey to sit down before he pointed at Felix.


    "Jack, I know why you invited me here. If you want to continue the discussion, make Felix leave. With him around, there''s no need to discuss anything. You can make the choice."
