Just then, Xena''s phone rang, and she quickly stepped into another room to answer. "Lord Hector," she answered respectfully. She knew that even after her promotion to Wady, she would maintain the same level of deference to her mentor and benefactor.


    "There''s a concert in Canraville in three days. I want you to personally handle the security, "Hector instructed.


    Xena almost could not believe what she heard. It was ridiculous to hear that a mere artist''s concert required her, a Wady, to act as security.


    Before she could object, Hector continued, "It''s not just any event-it''s Dreamscape''s first concert after disappearing for three years. The headquarters considers it highly important, and many big shots will attend. Do you understand?"


    Xena gasped when she heard the name, suddenly understanding why she was chosen. Dreamscape was known as the "Angel''s Voice", and the news instantly dissolved Xena''s negative feelings about the assignment.


    "I''ll ensure everything goes perfectly, Lord Hector!" she promised.
