    Felix felt moved that his fellow apprentices truly understood him. Inparison, Xena seemed tock in that aspect.

    The driver shot a cold nce back. "Tell Andrei that Perry Glover, president of the Goldwind Chamber of Commerce, is here to see him. It is an urgent matter.


    The guard''s expression soured. "Who do you think you are to name-drop my employer? You''ve got some nerve. Do you think I''m dumb enough to wake him up just because you said a name? Get lost!"


    Being scolded by a mere guard made Perry''s body tremble with anger. Ever since his son died, he hadn''t been able to calm down.

    The other guardsughed, thinking that Perry was an idiot. If he really had the connections, they would have already received a notification to open the door instead of having to y this ridiculous game at this hour Perry took a deep breath and pulled something out of his pocket.
