Billionaire With Husband 529

Felix could swear he was not seeing things. Xena sat on his couch, with two sses and a bottle of wine on the coffee table before her.

"Your life seems quite fun," Xena remarked, her initial smile instantly fading as her eyes fixed on Wendy in Felix''s arms.

Felix nced down, finally realizing the gravity of the situation.

"Xena, I-" he started, but she cut him off, "No need to exin. I clearly came at a bad time. Don''t worry. I''ll use the front door next time."

Felix inwardly cursed at this massive misunderstanding. He called out, "Xena, please let me exin! This is Wendy Kinsley-you must know who she is. She had too much to drink, and I don''t know where she stays, so I-" However, his words trailed off as Xena had already vanished through the door.

Looking at the wine bottle on the table, Felix felt incredibly frustrated. It was obvious Xena had found her own way into his vi to surprise him and probably have a heart-to-heart

    conversation.

Instead of strengthening their rtionship, this incident had likely damaged it.

"Jack, I swear I''ll get you for this," Felix muttered, though he knew he could not really me Jack or Wendy. It was just an unfortunate circumstance.

Felix carried Wendy upstairs andid her on the bed. Any other man might have been tempted by such a beautiful woman lying helplessly before them, but Felix simply closed the door and left.

He was too upset to even consider such thoughts. Besides, he and Wendy had already established they were just friends. When Felix returned to the living room, he froze in surprise. Xena had reappeared, sitting in the same spot as before.

"Xena... You''re not angry anymore?" Felix asked hesitantly.

She nodded, admitting, "I was too hasty earlier With your abilities, you must have sensed my presence, yet you still carried Wendy in. That shows you have nothing to hide."

In truth, his heightened awareness only picked up on threats or killing intent, not random presences. It would be exhausting if he were to leave his senses open all the time, especially in a country as densely popted as Dragonia. Nheless, Felix was not about to let the chance slip away. He said, "I''m d you understand. I really thought you''d never forgive me."

Felix sat down as Xena began pouring wine.

When he tried to bring up the headquarters investigation, she quickly pressed a finger to her red lips. "Shh! I don''t want to discuss work tonight. I just want to share this bottle of wine with you

in peaceful silence. Can you do that for me?"

"Of course," Felix agreed. They clinked sses repeatedly infortable silence, neither speaking a word.

After finishing the bottle, Xena stood up, and Felix followed suit, assuming he should see her out. Instead, she surprised him by wrapping her arms around his neck.

    "Kiss me," she whispered.

    Felix''s eyes widened in disbelief.

"What''s wrong? Don''t you like me? Kiss me," she insisted.

At that point, Felix knew hesitation was not an option. As they kissed deeply, he felt a shiver run down his spine as Xena''s hands began exploring his body.

It was shocking. Who would have thought this seemingly ice-colddy could be so forward once she let her guard down?
