Xena''s gaze was empty as she stared at Felix. "You still came to me only to save yourself. Felix, I''mpletely disappointed in you!


    "If you had just been honest with me from the start, given that I had already fallen for you, do you really think I would have refused? But you chose to hide the truth. So, everything you say now is just an excuse." Xena yanked her hand away from his grip, her voice cold. "I never want to see you again. Just disappear from my worldpletely."


    Felix stood frozen, watching Xena leave. He knew that nothing he could say or do would fix this now-Sarah had won by dealing Xena an emotional blow that could not be healed.

    The next morning, after a sleepless night, Felix still could not bring himself to give up and nned to ask Jack for advice. However, when he opened his door, he found Curtis stepping out of his car. "Mr. Summers Senior," Felix greeted him quietly.


    Curtis looked as exhausted as Felix felt, as if he, too, had not slept. He simply said, "Let''s talk inside."


    After getting Curtis a ss of water, Curtis said, "I know everything. Xena told me all of it.""


    Felix hung his head. "I''m sorry. This is all my fault. I caused Xena so much pain."


    To Felix''s surprise, Curtis waved off his apology. "No. This is my fault, not yours or Xena''s. Sarah wouldn''t have used such cruel method if it weren''t for me."


    He added, "She was always going to seek revenge against me! And she seeded. Xena is so heartbroken that she can''t even get out of bed. I''ve failed as her grandfather."

    He gave a bitterugh and continued, "Do you know why I stopped opposing your rtionship? A few days ago, I received a letter from Sarah.


    "I was naive enough to think time had healed all wounds, and she no longer held a grudge. Her only condition was that you and Xena could date freely. I was such a fool."


    Felix finally understood why Curtis had suddenly changed his mind-it had been Sarah''s maniption all along.


    "Mr. Summers Senior, did youe here with something specific to tell me?" Felix asked.


    Curtis nodded and grabbed Felix''s hand. "If you''re still a real man, don''t give up so easily. She still loves you."


    After such heartfelt words from Curtis, Felix could not possibly remain idle. "I was thinking the same thing. Don''t worry. I''ll make things right with Xena."


    Once Curtis left, Felix bought roses and headed to the Summers residence. Curtis had gone to the Daltons'' house to give them space, and Felix knew he had to make the most of this opportunity.


    As he approached the neighborhood, Felix suddenly mmed on his brakes and rushed toward someone waiting by the roadside. "Madam Spring!"


    He had caught a glimpse of her from the corner of his eye, and after all she had done, he could not control his rage. His recent power boost from absorbing four Dragonspines meant he was no longer outmatched.


    Sarah turned to face him, showing no fear. Instead, she gave a slight smile. "Such anger! Are you really going to attack me here?"


    Felix took a deep breath, and the ground cracked beneath his feet. "Attack you? I''m going to kill you!"
