    As he drove, two figures suddenly appeared on the road ahead, making him hit the brakes. He was puzzled. While he did not recognize the old man, he knew the other person. It was Aiden.


    "Does someone from the mighty Greene family need a ride?" After getting out of his car to tease them, Felix found Aiden''s face looking expressionless.


    "I know you took the Frost Crystal from the cave. Don''t even bother denying it," Aiden said.


    Felix narrowed his eyes. This guy''s intelligencework was impressive. He was surprised that Aiden would even know about that.


    But he was right! After interrogating Reece, Felix had found the Frost Crystal in one of theb rooms. It was suspended in some liquid that seemed to be extracting its properties.


    Fortunately, it was not badly damaged, so Felix had taken it. With its connection to the Dragonspine, he wouldn''t admit to having it even if Xena figured it out from the clues. Besides, his energy wave had destroyed all surveince equipment. "You''re right, I took it. But what''s that got to do with you?" Felix retorted.


    A sh of excitement crossed Aiden''s eyes. "Give it to me, and I guarantee you can return to the Greene family with full privileges. If you need anything else, just name it. I''ll make it happen."


    Aiden was able to track down the Frost Crystal so quickly, not just because of the Greene family''s resources. It was mainly thanks to the old man beside him. How else could they be so certain it was in Felix''s car? "That''s tempting, but I can''t. The Frost Crystal is too important," Felix said.


    Aiden''s expression darkened. "Felix, very few people in Dragonia dare refuse me, and you''re not one of them. Don''t force my hand!"


    Felixughed. "If you could use force, you would have already. With military helicopters and armored vehicles over there, it''s clearly a major headquarters operation. As the head of the Greene family, how could you not know?" He tossed his ID over. "Take a good look at my position. I was part of that operation! I''m under the Phoenix Warlord''s orders to bring the Frost Crystal back to headquarters. So, do you still want it?"


    The Greenes might be powerful, but they would not defy the state. Felix had figured this out as soon as they stopped his car.


    "Dragon Knight." Looking at the ID, Aiden gritted his teeth. He hadn''t known when Felix had


    joined headquarters, let alone at admiral rank. Thisplicated things.


    "Can I have my ID back, and could you move aside?" Felix asked.


    Felix caught the tossed ID and turned toward his car. As he opened the door, Aiden spoke again. "No one takes what I want! Not even you, Dragon Knight or not."


    Pursing his lips, Felix was about to respond when a roar filled the air. A fighter jet swooped low overhead. Incredibly, someone actually jumped out andnded smoothly near Aiden. Aiden''s voice carried over again. "See? I told you so."
