    By the bus, Felix had stepped out, finding the scene oddly familiar. Ten fighters in purplebat suits surrounded him, while the driver stood at a distance with a smug grin as if victory was assured.


    "You must be Yadier''s right-hand man. You can tell me where to find him."


    The driver''s smile widened. "How dare you talk big even at death''s door? Your confidence muste from being a martial artist, isn''t it? How naive. These are ten mid-ranked shadowstalkers from our homnd. You''re finished!" Felix''s expression turned peculiar as he asked, "Ten mid-ranked shadowstalkers? Where? I don''t see any."


    As the driver opened his mouth to respond, his eyes went wide. The ten fightersy lifeless on the ground. The most chilling part was that they had died in the time it took to speak a single


    sentence.


    "Now, where''s Yadier Steele?" Though he had walked into a trap, Felix couldn''t care less. The oue mattered, not the path there. The driver was paralyzed with fear as Felix appeared before him, realizing toote how badly they had underestimated Felix.


    On the distant car roof, Yadier hurled his binocrs down in rage. "Damn it! He killed ten mid-rankeds in an instant! How old is he? What kind of monster is this?"


    Yadier could not do anything about it now. He jumped down and yelled at the bewildered Tom, "What are you waiting for? Drive!"


    But Tom remained on the roof. As Yadier prepared to curse, a gentle breeze passed. Then, Tom''s head rolled down before stopping at Yadier''s feet.


    "What?" Yadier jumped back, horrified.


    "Yadier Steele, you''ll be the first of your family I eliminate. You should be proud," the voice came from behind.


    As Yadier turned, he saw Felix standing there, and he copsed to the ground.


    He had been miles away moments ago. How could anyone move that fast?


    For a full hour, Felix tortured Yadier and extracted every bit of information he needed, though


    it hardly seemed enough punishment. The Steele family''s evil doings deserved death a thousand times over!


    They had built severalbs in Dragonia to develop super-soldiers by experimenting on living Dragonians.


    Afterward, Felix caught a bear from the mountains and threw Yadier at its feet. Bears were known for eating their prey alive. They would eat so slowly, which gave the victims plenty of time to feel the pain while watching their flesh being torn and chewed. "No! Please, no!" Yadier seemed to know this, his face filled with desperation.


    Felix responded carelessly, "I just booked a flight to Astoria. Do you care to guess why?"
