"Jack!" Felix''s voice finally snapped Jack out of his trance. "Let me introduce you. This is my good friend Jack Graham, and this is Luna Starfire."


    Felix was exasperated. He had called Jack''s name three times while the guy just stared at Luna until she grew ufortable. "Pleasure to meet you, Ms. Starfire."


    After barely shaking hands, Jack''s expression suddenly changed. He jumped up. "Excuse me. I need to use the restroom."


    Honestly, Felix was stunned. He could tell exactly what had happened to Jack, but wasn''t this a bit extreme? Though considering Jack''s obsession with Astorian media when he was younger, perhaps it made sense. The awkward moment was saved by Luna''s amused smile. "Your friend''s quite entertaining, Dr. Zeller."

    Felix seized the chance to change subjects. "Tell me about your friend. The case doesn''t seem urgent, right?"


    Luna nodded. "To be direct, her situation is simr to Jenna''s."


    Ah, fertility issues. Indeed, it was not life-threatening. "Let''s sit for a bit longer, then we''ll go see her."


    An hourter, Felix left with Luna. She arranged for someone to entertain Jack, promising him a good time. Given Luna''s status, this was far better than what thepany could offer. Jack was more than happy to ept. "Dr. Zeller, my grandfather told our maids to prepare dinner when he heard you were in Astoria. We''d be honored if you''d join us."


    Felix agreed. Luna''s call changed his ns. "Ms. Starfire, what do you know about the Steele family?"


    He did not really know much about Luna and Kyro. After their previous interactions, he knew they were not ordinary people. "So, you found out?"


    Felix paused. "Found out what?"


    "The people who framed you in Gray City worked for the Steeles."


    This made things easier. "So, your family knows the Steeles?"


    Luna nodded, then shook her head. "We''re acquainted. My grandfather despises them. Beyond necessary business dealings, we avoid them entirely."


    Felix stopped pressing. A car wasn''t the ce for such talk. He would discuss more with Kyro tonight.


    It was a gamble, but even if it did not pay off, the stakes were not too high. It would just make things less convenient. Then, Xena called. Felix prayed it wasn''t another mission since he would have to rush back to Dragonia if it was. "Xena." "That''s Lady Summers to you! Have you forgotten your position?"

    "Fine, Lady Summers. Is there another mission? Even with just six months'' service, you can''t work me like a horse."


    Her tone turned stern and absolute. "I know you''re in Astoria. If not for urgent matters holding me up, you wouldn''t have made it onto that ne. I''m ordering you to return immediately. Disobey, and be ready to face military consequences!"
