Billionaire With Husband 826

"Interesting. Where did you learn that?" Billy asked.

Felix recalled hearing about it from N while in Astoria. How could he forget? "You''re not pulling my leg, right?"

Billy was annoyed. "I never lie! Well... except for that time with Queenie when she paid me extra. Anyway, this harmonica is a genuine artifact. So, do you want it?" Felix extended a finger toward the harmonica. "I owe you one."

    "Two favors," Billy countered.

    "One," Felix insisted.

    "Deal!" Billy huffed.

As Felix fiddled with the harmonica, he asked, "Do I just y it?"

"First, you need to perform a blood-binding ritual. Once the artifact gets your blood, it will merge into your body, and you can use it as naturally as your own hands."

Felix felt his excitement grow. This was the first time he had encountered something out of a fantasy novel. This artifact worked with a blood-binding ritual, unlike the Dragonspine, which required the Dragons Destroyer. Felix pricked his finger and let a drop of blood fall onto the harmonica. To his amazement, the blood seeped into the artifact, and he instantly felt a connection with it. With one thought from him, the harmonica vanished. "Now that I''ve given you the harmonica, I''ll tell you something important. Ghosts and spirits exist in this world. Don''t think I''m joking with you," Billy said, turning serious.

Felix cocked a brow. "Then why haven''t I ever seen one?"

Billy rolled his eyes. "Of course not! Martial artists like you are ghost repents. Most ghosts and spirits would flee when they sense you. Approaching you would be a death sentence for them."

That made sense. Felix thought for a moment before asking, "So, are you saying I''m likely to encounter ghosts or something simr soon?"

Billy smiled. The sight sent chills down Felix''s spine. "Judging by your face, it''s possible. But it''s to say. If you do encounter something hostile, use the harmonica. It''ll take care of everything." Felix

eturned home by sunset. N hadn''t followed him, saying she nned to stay at the

clinic with Melissa from now on.

In truth, N had decided to take things slow. After yesterday''s dinner, she understood Felix better. Living with him too soon might backfire. Instead, she would adapt to his pace.

At least Felix agreed to y the part of her husband if he ever traveled to her ce. N realized she needed to build their rtionship on his terms if she wanted to be with him.

When Felix entered his home, he was surprised to find Leslie sitting on the couch. "Leslie? What brings you here?"

First, it was Averill, and now Leslie was here. It was rare to see them visiting so frequently. "Am I not wee, and only Averill is?" Leslie sneered.

Felix smiled bitterly. Each of his fellow apprentices was more challenging than thest. "You know I didn''t mean it like that."

Leslie''s elegance was a stark contrast to Averill''s yful demeanor. Her conservative attire only added to her refined image. However, Felix knew whaty beneath her reserved exterior after their past encounter.

"I sent Yara to stay with Alistair for a week. Since I had some free time, I decided to drop by and see you," Leslie exined.

Before Felix could ask further, Leslie pulled out an item. "More importantly, this is for you. Mr. Hoffman asked me to deliver it. It''s your reward for bringing Benjamin to him."

"Something from Mr. Hoffman?" Felix''s heart raced. Gerald was stingy, so anything he gave away was precious.
