?Chapter 444:

All he knew was that he couldn’t stand the sight of her leaving, especially not with Ken by her side.

Allison stopped, frowning slightly. “Is there something you need?”

Ken, standing beside her, cast azy nce in Colton’s direction. His demeanor remained calm, but the weight of his presence made the air around him feel heavy.

“Mr. Stevens,” Ken said in a low voice, his words measured. “You’re not nning on bothering Ms. rke, are you?”

Though his tonecked any real emotion, the subtle edge to his words was enough to make Colton feel like a child caught in a storm.

“It’s none of your concern, Mr. Lloyd,” Colton said, struggling to keep his emotions in check as his gaze fell back on Allison.

His expression was filled with turmoil. “I just wanted to thank you for what you did today.”

Allison remained brief, clearly uninterested in dragging out the conversation.

“No thanks needed. I did it for Keanu. Now, if there’s nothing else, could you step aside?”

She turned, ready to leave, but Colton reached out, attempting to stop her.

“I… I’m really sorry for everything that happened before.”

Before he could finish, Mny arrived on the scene, immediately sensing the tension hanging between them. Her expression hardened, jealousy ring in her eyes.

“Colton!” Mny’s voice cracked with emotion as she called out his name.

Her call pulled Colton back to reality.

He let his hand drop, knowing he couldn’t hold Allison back any longer.

Allison lifted her gaze briefly and gave him a soft reminder. “Mr. Stevens, don’t keep your wife waiting.” Her tone was calm, showing that she had no personal attachment to him.

Without waiting for a response, she secured her helmet and turned to the sharply dressed man beside her.

“Mr. Lloyd, how about we take a different route home tonight?”

Ken smiled slightly. “Why not?” His eyes flicked to the sleek motorcycle. “If I’m not mistaken, this is a Neiman Marcus limited edition model. Very rare and worth over two million dors.”

“You’ve got a good eye,” Allison replied, recalling their earlier head-to-head race where neither of them could pull ahead.

They both had a shared love for speed, whether behind the wheel or on a bike.

With a yful smile, she offered, “As a thank you for your help tonight, how about I give you a ride home?”

Ken met her eyes and nodded. “I’d be honored.”

As the streetlights blinked on, their warm glow bathed the two of them.

The motorcycle roared as they sped away under the night sky, leaving the rest of the world behind in an exhrating blur.
