Chapter 550

    ?Chapter 550:

Mny’s frustration boiled over as she stammered, “You!”

In the end, Mny gathered every ounce of courage to join the game.

After all, Russian roulette wasn’t just any game; it was a fatal gamble.

Perhaps the long hours spent ying card games had taken their toll, as Mny’s vision began to blur.

She reassured herself that she couldn’t be that unlucky.

Just one victory would put her troubles to rest, and maybe Allison’s fate would be sealed tonight.

    Half an hourter, the gamemenced.

Allison led the group as four yers positioned themselves around the table. The dealer stepped forward, holding a tray topped with a ck velvet-covered box. When he removed the cover, it revealed two revolvers nestled in the center, their silver barrels gleaming ominously.

“Two revolvers, each with six chambers, but only one chamber holds a bullet. The draw will determine the turn order,” the dealer exined.

One by one, they reached into the box to pick up their order slips. When Mny opened hers, she discovered she’d drawn the first turn. Her heart thudded, and she clenched her hand so hard that her nails left marks on her skin.

When the dealer handed her the revolver, her fingers shook slightly. The polished surface seemed to reflect a dark, foreboding image, almost as if she could see her own blood smeared across it.

“I’m… I’m a little on edge,” Mny confessed, her voice barely more than a whisper, while her legs threatened to give out beneath her.

Cold sweat trickled down her back, but she forced herself to appearposed. Steeling herself, she raised the gun and pressed it to her temple.

She took a deep breath and pulled the trigger.

The room was so silent that the sound of the “click” seemed deafening. It was an empty chamber. Mny’s pulse raced as relief flooded her.

“I’m alive,” she muttered, almost as if trying to convince herself. She handed the revolver back to the dealer, her hands still trembling.

    Kylo’s turn came next.

He epted the revolver with casual ease, inspecting it as if it were no more than an interesting trinket.

With calm precision, Kylo raised the revolver to his head.

The room collectively held its breath, eyes glued to the man and the loaded weapon in his grasp. Each heartbeat echoed with anticipation as they awaited the moment when he would pull the trigger and possibly meet his fate.

Among the onlookers were those who had lost everything in the casino’s relentless grip. They watched with thinly veiled hope that the ruler of Muisvedo would fall, sharing in their misfortune.

Finally, Kylo’s finger squeezed the trigger.
