?Chapter 851:
“Don’t even think about grabbing me,” Allison warned, reading his expression with ease. “I don’t have an invitation,” she continued, “but I’m sure you can tell — I’m good at making a scene. With so many people here, who’s to say I won’t use one of your prized guests as a shield?”
She tilted her head and gave him a sweet, unsettling smile. “So, why don’t you save yourself the trouble and bring Kylo out here? Once he shows up, I promise I won’t cause any trouble.”
The waiter hesitated, weighing his options. Her words had clearly rattled him.
“Please, just stay calm,” he said atst. “I’ll go get Mr. Vargas.”
Ronany on the floor, writhing in pain, too weak to even crawl.
“Just wait until Kylo gets here!” he spat, his voice shaky. “My wife is close friends with him, and when he shows up, you’ll be tossed into the sea to feed fish!”
Allison responded by pressing her heel down on his fingers once more.
“Let’s see who ends up finished,” she said coldly.
Ronan let out another scream, the pain unbearable. After that, he kept his mouth shut, terrified of provoking her further. He didn’t dare say another word until Kylo arrived.
Meanwhile, the two women who had apanied Ronan now red at him with disgust. Their contempt was written all over their faces, and the humiliation stung more than the pain. Still, Ronan smirked inwardly. Once Kylo showed up, he’d make sure this woman paid dearly for what she’d done to him.
Momentster, a line of men in ck appeared, marching in formation to clear the way. The staff immediately recognized who had arrived. Dropping to their knees in fear, they announced in trembling voices, “Mr. Vargas, there’s a situation here.” All eyes turned to Kylo as he approached, dressed sharply in a tuxedo. A small, intricate gold brooch glimmered on his chest. The golden chain attached to it swayed gently, gleaming like the edge of a de.
His gaze instantlynded on Allison. Meanwhile, Ronan, unaware of the shift in mood, began to wail dramatically. “Mr. Vargas! This woman had the audacity to hit me! You have to punish her!” He pointed to the floor, looking pathetic. “Look at this! My teeth are lying right there!”
Ronan smirked inwardly, convinced that Kylo would have Allison dealt with — tossed into the sea, if necessary. But Kylo remained unfazed by themotion. His calm, steady demeanor silenced the room.
“Ronan,” Kylo said, his voice cold, “you made a mistake. Ms. rke is my honored guest. You shouldn’t have crossed her.”
The crowd fell silent, shocked by what they had just heard. Ronan’s jaw dropped. He couldn’t believe it. “Mr. Vargas, you must be joking. This woman is just a—”
Before he could finish, one of Kylo’s bodyguards stepped forward, struck him to the floor, and shoved a gag into his mouth.
