Chapter 861

    ?Chapter 861:

    “I don’t care,” he murmured.

Ken’s dark eyes held a depth that seemed as endless and mysterious as the night sky. In the dark room, their quiet words of love seemed to draw them closer, like an unbreakable bond. The faint, lingering scent in the room made it harder for him to hold back. Without hesitation, Ken kissed her again, carrying her to the bed.

Leaning down, he began unfastening his shirt, the movement slow and deliberate. Their kisses grew more passionate gradually, each one leaving them breathless.

Allison could sense his growing possessiveness, each moment more intense than thest, as if he were afraid that she would vanish into thin air the next moment. It felt as though he wanted to consume her entirely, leaving nothing untouched. Caught in their passionate embrace, she noticed a faint dampness on Ken’s neck.

Something didn’t feel right. Turning her head, she nced toward his cor. “Wait…” she started to say.

But Ken refused to release her.

“Allison, just focus on me,” he said, his voice firm. He grabbed her wrist and pinned it gently but firmly against the soft bed. His possessive energy enveloped herpletely, leaving her breathless.

Her chest rose and fell heavily as his kisses deepened, leaving her overwhelmed. It wasn’t until Ken finally slowed down that Allison cupped his face with both hands.

“Let me check your injury,” she said softly, her tone filled with concern.

His earlier rough movements had been so forceful that the metallic scent of blood now hung in the air. Ken couldn’t keep it a secret from Allison, no matter how hard he tried.

With a rough sigh, he admitted, “Looks like I can’t hide it from you.”

He slid the key card into the slot, and the room lit up instantly. Inside, shelves were stocked with medical supplies — everything from bandages to medications.

“How did you end up this badly hurt?” Allison asked, her voice tinged with worry. She carefully slipped his shirt halfway off, exposing his upper body. His sculpted muscles spoke of strength and raw intensity, carrying an untamed edge. But Allison’s eyes weren’t drawn to his form. Her attention stayed on the nasty graze across his back. Her brows furrowed as she asked, “Have you been grazed by a bullet?”

Ken shook his head, brushing it off casually. “I didn’t even notice it. No idea how bad it is,” he said with a shrug.

Allison stared at him, her frustration clear. “Are you serious right now? You’re not a robot, and how could you feel no pain?”
