    “I know you’re worried about me, Ken,” she said softly as she turned to loop her arms around his neck. “But dying won’t change anything. He’s bound to dig into what happened tonight. Kylo knows the mayor, and there’s no way we can keep our secrets from him. It’s better to face this head-on.” Without giving him a chance to respond, she grabbed his cor and pulled him closer.


    Her lips met his in a fiery kiss, letting the heat of the moment sweep them both away.


    Sessful Partnership


    Ken cupped Allison’s head with steady hands and kissed her with an intensity that spoke volumes.


    It was the kind of kiss neither of them wanted to break. Allison found herself pinned against the chilly wall, the warmth of the man before her engulfing her entirely. That warmth seemed to burn through everything else. Their breaths tangled together, each one threatening to swallow the other.


    Ken’s throat moved as he spoke, his voice steady. “So, you n to use Kylo?”


    “Yes,” Allison replied, looping her arms around his neck. “Ever since Bill got involved, I’ve been afraid of losing bnce. But now, I’ve found the power to tip the scales.” She gave a slow smile, her eyes narrowing into delicate crescents.


    Her lips, tinged with the color of soft roses, gleamed faintly, tempting and inviting.


    Still, her gaze betrayed a sharp chill beneath the surface. “The Immortality Group isn’t just studying how to live forever,” Allison said. “They’re also creating human weapons. The elites won’t overlook that, and Kylo’s no different.”


    This was Kylo’s domain, so they couldn’t risk speaking too freely, afraid that someone might be monitoring.


    Even so, their eyes exchanged a silent agreement.


    “Alright,” Ken whispered, pulling her closer. “When the timees, I’ll lead the team to destroy theb.” He clung to the moment like it was precious.


    Though the idea of Allison making deals with Kylo unsettled him, he trusted her judgment.


    “Allison, I’ll wait for you toe back.”


    “Okay.” Allison tightened her arms around Ken’s neck. His head dipped lower, their noses brushing in a yful touch.


    She gave a soft smile. “Don’t worry. I won’t be gone long.”


    Allison soon stepped into Kylo’s office.


    Kylo still carried himself with that effortless blend of charm and elegance.


    “Please, take a seat, Ms. rke,” he said, his smile warm and inviting.


    Thefortable ambiance of the office could almost convince someone that he was a kind, approachable man. “It seems I interrupted a moment between you and Mr. Lloyd,” Kylo said casually, handing her a steaming cup of tea.


    As he leaned forward, his eyes naturally drifted to the faint marks on her neck and the faint shine on her full lips.
