It was an appalling spectacle. Ethan rolled Leia’s sleeve up only to see scars fully mark her arm.
Unable to believe what he was seeing, he rolled up her other sleeve as well.
To his surprise, there were not only one or two scars from cuts. There were burn marks too.
The scars look like a squirming worm. It pained him to see them covering her arms. “What happened?”
Leia quickly withdrew her arms from him. Frantically, she said, “It’s none of your business. As I said, I’ll
leave if you don’t kill me. After that, my life and death don’t concern you anymore.”
