As their eyes met, Olivia suddenly leaped off the ground. Just as she had done in the snake den, she
held Ethan tightly.
“Damn it, who permitted you to run away? Do you know how worried I was about you?”
Ethan knelt on the ground on one knee. His eyes widened as shock filled his face.
Last night, Olivia had said so certainly that she hated him and found him disgusting.
He thought that he didn’t have a chance anymore. He chose to leave so that she could stop crying and
he wouldn’t be an eyesore to her.
But Olivia’s embrace made him feel like the dying embers in the firece were rekindled. His heart

Pulling away from his arms, Olivia said through gritted teeth, “I said that I was very worried about you,
alright?”
