    food on the table by the time he finished washing up.


    “Why are you still standing there? Come sit down and eat your lunch!” she urged him. It took Heptino


    every ounce of willpower he had to stop himself from crying as he wolfed the food down.

    Gloria simply watched silently from the side with an affectionate look on her face. “You’re eating like


    you’ve been starving for days! Here, wipe your mouth!” Gloria eximed while handing him a napkin.
