?Chapter 722:
He sidestepped effortlessly, not even sparing a nce. In one decisive stomp, he shattered the attacker’s leg like snapping a dry twig.
Another man leveled a gun at him. “Go to hell!” he yelled, his voice cracking with fear.
In the blink of an eye, Verruckt was on him. Within seconds, the sleek ck gun was already in Verruckt’s grip.
“So this is what you’re bringing to the table?” he said, his tone calm as he snapped the gunman’s neck like a dry twig.
Gordon’s voice came through the earpiece, sharp with analysis. “His speed and strength are beyond human. No amount of training can make someone move like that. If this pace continues, the entire group will be annihted soon.”
“You’re not wrong,” Allison replied, her voice steady. “If the Mafia thought this was enough manpower, they clearly underestimated Verruckt. He won’t even break a sweat tonight.” Gordon caught the underlying meaning in her words.
“You’re suggesting more reinforcements are on the way?” Allison gave a slight nod.
“Knowing Daniel, I’m certain this is just the opening act. These guys are meant to tire Verruckt out, wear him down for what’sing next.” She spoke with the certainty of experience, her teacher’s lessons etched into her mind. The Mafia’s cunning was no mystery to her.
Just as she finished her sentence, a shbang erupted in the distance.

Bang—
The battlefield was suddenly bathed in light, exposing a grim tableau of corpses and crimson-streaked earth.
“Not good.” Allison instinctively ttened herself against the container, minimizing her silhouette.
Before Verruckt could react, a smoke grenade screamed through the air, hitting him dead-on. It detonated with precision, leaving no time for evasion.
“What’s going on?” Gordon’s voice crackled with tension. The surveince feed was swallowed by an imprable white haze.
Allison retreated quickly, her movements calcted as she escaped the smoke’s reach. Only then did she pause.
“Chemical weapons,” she said, her tone carrying a sharp edge. “Tailor-made for Verruckt. The shbang was just to light him up like a beacon.”
Her gaze lingered on the swirling smoke in the distance.
“Immortality Pharmaceuticals isn’t just ying games tonight — they’re gunning for his head.”
As the smoke began to thin, the scene revealed itself once more. Twice the number of adversaries now faced Verruckt, their ranks swollen with reinforcements. Despite this, Allison held her ground.
