?Chapter 854:

Ken paused for a moment, then said, “It’ll work, but can’t Kylo’s people take care of this? I hope you just stay on the Gxy and wait for me.”

    “Why?” Allison asked.

“It’s too risky,” Ken replied in a low voice. “I…” His words were interrupted by static intermittently.

Allison frowned, straining to catch what he had said.

Ken’s phone felt as though something was covering it.

“Verruckt is here, and they’re closing in fast,” he said. Though his voice remained low, there was a sharp rity to it now. “Allison, if you show up, I’m afraid he’ll recognize you.”

His concern was valid, and Allison knew it.

But she wasn’t the type to sit around and wait for disaster to strike.

With a nod, she said, “I understand,” before quickly getting moving, preparing to rally her team to support him.

The call ended, and Kylo’s crew stood ready, armed to the teeth. Grappling hooks and steel cables gleamed in the low light, their tools for descending from the Gxy onto the neighboring cruise ship.

Allison caught her reflection in a nearby mirror and asked, “Mr. Vargas, is there a mask around here?”

Kylo gave a curt nod. “Of course.”

Without hesitation, he motioned for someone to retrieve one. As they rushed toply, Kylo’s curiosity deepened. Who had she angered to end up in a situation like this? Momentster, a soft mask with an intricate butterfly pattern was handed to her.

Allison adjusted it carefully, the delicate design a stark contrast to the tension that gripped the air. Five minutester, she and Kylo’s assassins were silently descending onto the deck of Immortality Pharmaceuticals’ cruise ship, their steel cables slicing through the quiet night.

The deck was deserted, eerily still.

Allison scanned the shadows and took a steadying breath, hoping that Verruckt wouldn’t recognize her.

Meanwhile, Ken’s tone was sharp as he issuedmands. “We’ll take the stairs on the right straight to the top floor. Don’t stop for anyone.”

Gordon leaned casually against the wall, his arms crossed. “I’ll deal with the ones following us,” he said, his smirk as sharp as his tone.

Despite their mutual disdain, Ken and Gordon set aside their differences for Allison. On this mission, they were united.

With a quick motion, Ken loaded his gun and signaled his team to move out. Almost instantly, the staff in the surveince room notified Verruckt.

Verruckt’s silver hair and crimson eyes glinted under the harsh lights. A smirk tugged at his lips. “Well, well. Finallying out to y? Let’s make this interesting.”
