?Chapter 868:
“That’s not enough,” Ken replied.
He leaned in and kissed her.
His eyes burned with a deep, restless desire.
“I really don’t want the morning toe so soon,” he said.
With ease, he unbuttoned Allison’s shirt.
“Mm…”
Allison felt him lift her by the lower back.
She locked her gaze on Ken.
He kissed every inch of her skin, their breaths mixing together.
Allison lost count of how many times his powerful presence had swept over her.
Each embrace felt like a blend of soul and body.
Passion flowed through the night.
It wrapped around them, binding them together.
At dawn, the first light of day peeked through.
Allison slowly opened her eyes, feeling a bit sore.
“Good morning, Allison,” Ken said. He was already awake, leaning down to kiss her forehead gently. “You should freshen up and eat something before going to theb.”
“Okay,” she replied, getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom.
As she nced in the mirror, she saw her neck covered in hickeys.
Allison couldn’t help butugh, shaking her head. “Ken, did you turn into a vampirest night?”
He chuckled lightly, leaning casually against the wall.
“Just use some concealer.”
“That’s all I can do,” Allison replied.
She sighed and grabbed the concealer to cover the hickeys.
Last night had been so intense that she hadpletely forgotten about them.
Soon, she looked at her now wless skin and let out a breath of relief. “All set,” she said.
Ken seemed a bit let down. “That’s good.”
After having breakfast together, Allison left for theb on her own.
Even with everything that had happenedst night, she knew that there was much more to face today. When Allison reached the office, she saw that Verruckt wasn’t there.
“Alice, are you okay?” Judith’s voice suddenly came from behind her.
Allison was briefly taken aback but then smiled and nodded. “Of course. How about you all? You all look drained.”
Judith spoke with a weary tone. “It’s just part of the job. We’re used to it. But why do you look so tired too?”
